Bomb Threat
National News: The day turned tense when bomb threats struck three key regions of India. First came the alert in Delhi, then Mumbai, and finally Bihar. All three incidents unfolded one after another, spreading fear among citizens and creating chaos in public spaces. The first threat was received at Delhi High Court. An email claimed that bombs were planted in judges’ chambers and premises. It mentioned Pakistan and Tamil Nadu in collusion for “Holy Friday blasts.” Authorities rushed to act immediately after reading the message.
Delhi Police, bomb disposal squads, and dog units sealed the court campus. Judges, staff, and visitors were evacuated. Fire brigades and ambulances were placed on standby. A detailed search was carried out, but nothing suspicious was recovered after hours of scanning.
Soon after Delhi’s alert, a similar email reached the Bombay High Court. The message warned of explosions inside the court building. Security forces evacuated the premises as a precaution. Bomb disposal teams and police dogs inspected the area thoroughly, ensuring everyone’s safety.
While Delhi and Mumbai were under pressure, a disturbing post surfaced on social media in Bihar. The message threatened bomb blasts at 4 pm on 12 September 2025. It challenged security agencies to stop the attackers, raising tension statewide.
These threats came days after five ISIS sleeper cell members were arrested across India. Authorities suspect the group was preparing chemical weapons and suicide bombs. This backdrop has intensified fears that Friday’s threats could be linked to bigger terror conspiracies.
Despite panic, investigations so far show no explosives. Officials believe anti-social elements may be behind the threats. In recent months, schools and offices also faced similar hoaxes. Security agencies are now tracking digital footprints to identify culprits and restore public confidence.
